The Burbank Central Library is hosting a free one-on-one job search assistance program on June 23rd and 24th, from 2:00-4:00pm. This program is online. More information here.
A community cultural market is coming to our community with art, food, and music every Friday night, starting with the grand opening on June 24th. More information here.
Support our local youth sports at the annual Citivan/Jamboree day at Olive Recreation Center, on June 25th, starting at 8:30am. The event will have a parade, skills demonstrations, and fun athletic challenges. The parade starts at John Burroughs High School. More information here.
Learn how to compost at home at this virtual workshop on June 29th at 6:00pm. Information is for both single family home lots and apartment/condo homes as well. More information here.
The Burbank Police Department is hosting a free community academy for teens starting in July. The program provides information on how the police department works as well as a small preview of physical training in the real Police Academy. Applications are due June 30th.
The Starlight Bowl is hosting fireworks this year for its 4th of July Celebration. Tickets are available for the concert and event at the Starlight Bowl. Community members can also see the fireworks from all over the city at 9:00pm. More information here.
