The Burbank RISE program is now taking applications for the 2022 program. This free workshop series is an opportunity to get to know the City of Burbank and meet folks in the community. National Night out will be on Aug. 2nd this year, at Johnny Carson Park, from 5:30pm-8:30pm. This event is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about community services and get involved. There will be giveaways, demonstrations, and refreshments.
Organics recycling is required for Burbank Residents and Commercial Businesses under California's new law SB1383. The recycling center is offering a free food scrap pail at National Night Out to transport and empty the collected food and food-soiled paper into the green organics cart.
