New Burbank Newsletter: View from the Dais

Hi all - as many of you know, I was sworn in yesterday as one of Burbank’s City Councilmembers.

I’m excited to announce that I have started a second newsletter as a councilmember: View from the Dais.

This new newsletter is focussed on the ins and outs of what’s happening at Burbank City Hall, including:

• votes and results of city council meetings

• council member meet and greets (ie, my Tuesday coffees)

• important city information and announcements

• information and updates about how our city government works (for example, what the heck is SB 35 and how does it affect us?)

The Burbank 411 newsletter will continue as it is, with events and fun ways to get involved in our community. I promise, no politics in Burbank 411! Also, starting in Jan 2023, Burbank 411 will be published on Mondays.

View from the Dais will be published periodically once or twice a week, and a day or two after each council meeting.

You can sign up for View from the Dais here, and receive it in your inbox just as you receive Burbank 411. Or, you can come to the View from the Dais website when you’d like to look up the most recent council decisions.

One last note - there will be no Burbank 411 next week due to the holidays. So, all of this newsletter shuffling will officially start in Jan 2023! Have a wonderful holiday and see you in 2023. -Tamala
